“Why Do We Have To Recycle?”
On a quest to learn about recycling, the Storybots end up in a landfill, a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Below is a side by side of the animatic I made for the ep, as well as the final render. Also included are some development stills from early on in the pre-production.
“What Happens When You Flush The Toilet”?
In the “What Happens When You Flush the Toilet” episode, the Storybots go down into the sewers and follow the water (and poo) that is treated by wastewater treatment facilities. One challenge on this episode was having it take place in a nightmarish hell hole (sewers), but trying to avoid having it be a terrible bummer for the kiddies. Below is an animatic for the end of the episode, as well as some story sketches and development work.
